Headquarters Building

We are happy to confirm the reopening of the Headquarters Building and is available for hire from 2 September 2019. The building is at 214 Buckley Avenue, Hobsonville Point and was built in the art deco style in the 1930s, and used as the Royal New Zealand Air Force Headquarters.  It was recently re-named Te Mahere, meaning to plan, map or chart, thus reflecting its former use.  It has now been refurbished and re-purposed as a building where members of the community can come together, to meet, to learn and ‘plan for’ the future of the community.  The Headquarters Building is managed by the Hobsonville Community Trust, and bookings are available through an online booking system at the web-site www.hobsonville.org.nz. Our office email is venues@hobsonville.org.nz.
